Richard George Pshock, age 84, from Parma, Ohio left this earth to meet his Savior, on Sunday, September 17, at home surrounded by his family after a year-long battle with cancer.

Richard was born on August 18, 1933 in Martin, PA to Andrew and Veronica (nee Vrabel) Pshock (deceased).  He is survived by his sister, Joyce Belan (John) of Lakeland, Florida and preceded in death by sisters Rose Pshock and Patricia O’Lear.  He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Bernadine (nee Kropinak) and children Mary Ann Pshock, Rick (Eleana), Theresa Kosakowski (Dave), Helen Dugan (Rich), Monica Cruz (George), John (Jeanette), Dave (Michelle) and Jim (Natalie).  He was the loving Papa of Mauricio (Shelly), Vanessa, Erin (Drew), Andrew (Hannah), Jordan, Lindsay, Christopher (Hope), Shannon, Nick (Kim), Angela, Jonathan (Emmy), Joe, Michael, Ben, Caitlin, Faith, David, Daniel, Joshua, Bryant (Kelly), Matt (Audrey), Rachael and Jacob and great-grandchildren, Josiah, Owen, Xavier (deceased), Elise, Caleb, Gavin & Magnolia.

Richard was a 1952 graduate of Mapletown High School in Greensboro, Pennsylvania and excelled in both baseball and basketball.  He was an active member of his class reunion group.  He also served for four years in the United States Air Force and served in the Korean Conflict while stationed in Guam.  He and Bernie raised their 8 children on Cleveland’s west side for over 25 years.

Rich was employed by TRW from 1957 through 1989.  He retired only to start another career at Kaiser Permanente for another 15 years.  After a second retirement, for the past nine years Rich served as a mentor and advisor at Bravo Wellness, LLC.  He was also active in his church, St. Charles Borromeo in Parma as an usher and altar server.

He will be sorely missed by his Bravo family as Papa, counselor, coach and friend and by so many other friends and family members.  We will always remember him as we continue to play as he did at cards, softball, bowling, family gatherings and trips to the casino!
