Obituary

CHARLES L. CARNES, age 63.  Passed away on April 17, 2022.  Husband of Lori (nee Allen).  Dear father of Angela Effinger (Eric) and Ashley Carnes.  Devoted grandfather of Tyler Hathaway, Jacob Effinger, Logan Effinger, Conor Effinger and Dylan Effinger.  

Son of the late James and Imogene Carnes.  Brother of the late James Carnes and Kathy (Carnes) Gray.  Uncle and friend of many.

Charles worked as a machinist for many years, primarily at Modern Tool & Die.  He especially loved his cars and treasured his Harley Davidson motorcycle. 

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held in tribute to Charles on Saturday April 30, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Schuster Straker O'Connor Funeral Home, 5904 Ridge Road Parma.  A luncheon reception will follow at Holy Spirit Party Center, 5500 W. 54th Street, Parma.
