MARLENE JEANETTE HARLACZ (nee WANCATA), age 89, beloved wife of the late John Paul Harlacz. Daughter of the late Apolonia (Andraitis) and Joseph Wancata. Devoted loving Mother to Mark Joseph (Peggy), Joanna Staikoff (Rick) and Margaret Rossman (Thomas). Wonderful Grandmother to Sarah, Theresa, Nicholas (Sarah), Megan, John Francis, Jenna Marlene, Samantha and Natalie.
Marlene's family was her life. She was our Matriarch. Marlene lost her beloved husband and soulmate John, 40 years ago.
Marlene had special devotions to the Blessed Mother, Our Lady of Fatima, the Sacred Heart of Jesus, St. Therese, the Rosary and St. Francis. Our family strongly believes Marlene had a direct line to Heaven with her prayers. Marlene has touched so many lives with her warmth, caring and generosity of heart. Anyone who was fortunate to know Marlene was truly blessed.
Marlene is with the Lord, the Blessed Mother, the Saints and Angels, and joins her loving husband John, mother, father, and brother in everlasting peace.
Rest in Peace our beautiful, amazing, loving Mother and NumNum, Grammy and Amma. Your love, laughter, intelligence, warmth, witty intellect and ever giving generous heart will always be with us. You were and still are an amazing human being. You will be missed deeply but will be in our hearts always and forever until we meet again.
