Martha Weinreich
Martha departed her loving family on July 9th to join her late husband, Norman Weinreich.
Martha’s closest friends were her sisters Christine Ujcich and Annette Widlicka.
Martha was a dedicated mother to Michelle, Matthew, and Sarah. She was heavily involved in her growing family with sons-in-laws, Greg Sexton, Charlie Pyle, and daughter-in-law Carrie Weinreich.
Martha was a proud Grandmother to Caden, Scarlet, Courtney, Alannah and several dogs. Many of her last years were spent with her granddaughters planning their next trip to the zoo and preparing for family movie night. She was always excited to ask about the score of their games or to hear about their day at school.
Martha spent her life as a working mother who loved to cook, fish, boat, and eat at her favorite restaurants. Most of all she enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends, concerned they got a good parking space when they came to see her, and made sure everyone was aware of the impending weather.
Martha chose to have a private service with her family.
In lieu of flowers or donations, Martha wanted cash or gift cards so her family can enjoy a meal at Don’s Pomeroy House. For those who knew Martha, you understand that this was not a joke. Alternatively, her family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Martha’s name. https://www.stjude.org/donate/srch/donate-in-honor-or-memory-of-someone.
